(WIP) Cryo Mechanic Exploration Map











Work including
Designing map geo and performing blockout
Taking special care to control the amount of information exposed to players from moment to moment
Leading the player using environmental cues
Teaching the core mechanic of “Cryo Gas” using the environment and layering on teaching encounters with the mechanic to create a satisfying puzzle at the end
Modeling assets in Blender
Scripting modular blueprint systems for Cryo Gas, the Tanks that hold it, the pipes that deliver it, and the levers/valves players will interact with to manipulate it. Overall result is a interconnected web of simple BPs with powerful gameplay implications
