As a Technical Narrative Designer, I owned the design and implementation of key narrative areas throughout the game. Areas I worked on include:

  • Asgard

  • Svartalfheim

  • Odin’s House

  • Ragnarok

Work included

  • Finagling NPCs to properly animate, run dialogue, participate in combat

  • Transition into, out of, and properly run cutscenes using our custom built tools

  • Managing memory as players traversed various areas of the playable world, carefully hiding loading and unloading of assets

As part of my duties on the Narrative team, I also worked on the blockout, design, and implementation of the Dream Realm level.
